Preliminary Law Enforcement Fatalities - May 2012

The Memorial Fund is proud to partner with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on traffic-related officer safety initiatives and with the Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) on the VALOR program to improve officer safety.  

2012 National Police Week a Success  
Thank you to all who participated in 2012 National Police Week! This year, about 25,000 people attended the 24th annual Candlelight Vigil and thousands more watched it live on the web. Thank you for honoring America's law enforcement heroes.

Law Enforcement Appreciation Events
The Memorial Fund launched an initiative to collaborate with professional sports teams (of the NHL, NBA, MLS, MLB and more) to honor the nation's law enforcement officers by organizing special Law Enforcement Appreciation events and ticket packages.
