Honoring 123 Officers Lost in 2015
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund has released the roll call of names of 252 U.S. law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty, 123 of whom died in 2015 and 129 officers who were killed in prior years. These names will be engraved next month and formally dedicated at the 28th annual Candlelight Vigil held on the National Mall, between 3rd and 7th streets on Friday, May 13 at 8:00 pm.

263rd Session of FBI National Academy Visits Memorial On the crisp, clear evening of Tuesday, March 1, the members of the 263rd Session of the FBI National Academy crouched down by the walls to etch names onto paper, their colleagues providing extra light from their smartphones. They came to pay their respects to their fellow officers before graduating from the academy the following week.
