Even if you won’t be able to join us in Washington, DC on October 12-13, you can still participate! Register as a Virtual Participant to take part in the 2013 Law Enforcement Ride & Run to Remember from wherever you are. All you have to do is register (you can participate individually or join a team) and select "Virtual Participant." Then start fundraising to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement!
Virtual Participants are eligible to be members of a team, receive a Ride & Run to Remember T-shirt, and earn fundraising rewards.
Do I have to fundraise? You do need to meet the $72 fundraising minimum, in honor of the law enforcement officer lives lost on September 11, 2001, the deadliest day in law enforcement history.
What are some ways I can participate virtually? You can go for a ride or run on your own or with your friends and family. Use your favorite route or try something new, the important part is to take part and honor the service of our nation’s law enforcement officers. Whether you go to the gym, go with a bicycling or running club, or just do your required occupational exercise, you’ll be with us!
Do I need to register in another event to participate? No. You can ride or run on your own or with a group.
Am I eligible for all incentives and participant amenities? Yes, Each participant who has met or exceeded the minimum will have full access to a suite of tools to assist in your efforts as well as receive all the rewards and amenities as those participating on site.
Can I start a virtual team? Yes you can. Click “Register” and select “Create a Team” before proceeding with your registration as a Virtual Participant. Once you’ve registered, you can ask your friends, family, and colleagues to join you.
