Ways to Participate
Law enforcement officers support us every day – and every 54 hours an officer makes the ultimate sacrifice. Ride or run alongside law enforcement officers. Celebrate and commemorate their service. Register today.
Registered riders must be 16 years old by the date of the event and agree to raise a minimum of $54. Riders under 18 must have a parent/guardian present on event who is also a registered participant.
Registered runners must be 12 years old by the date of the event and agree to raise a minimum of $54. Runners under 18 must have a parent/guardian present on event who is also a registered participant. (No more than four minors per guardian.)
We need a lot of people to help bring this event to life. If you’re unable to ride or run, but want to contribute to the event in another way, register to volunteer.
Can’t make it to the Washington, DC area? Have a scheduling conflict for October 14? Not to worry, you can still remember the sacrifice and celebrate the service as a Virtual Participant.
The Virtual Participant program is designed for those who are not able to attend the event in person, but who would like to show their support by registering and fundraising a minimum of $54. By registering as a Virtual Participant you will gain access to all the same fundraising tools and rewards available to other participants. Also, in recognition of your commitment, your race shirt, bib and medal will be mailed to you following the completion of the event weekend*. This program is perfect for family members and friends who do not live in the area or for anyone who is unable to attend in person.
*Please allow 4-6 weeks from race date for shipment of race shirt, bib and medal.
**Virtual Participant assumes all risk and liability.
“This by far was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I
hope next year to bring back several people from my shift and
department. I look forward to many to come!”
