Welcome to My Personal Page
Sheryl Mitchell - City of Albion
Please support me as I take a stand behind the brave men and women of law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to protect the public.
We live in a culture where everyone is quick to blame the other person. Personal accountability is something that we need more of in our society. Let's try to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. Let's talk more. Open a dialogue. See that we have more in common that not. There are good and bad people on both sides of the law. Let's come together and show that there are far more good people.
If you have not given to a charity yet, I ask that you consider donating to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. I have come to know a few men and women in law enforcement over the years, and they want the same thing we all do: safety. Whether or not you donate, stop by your local police station and introduce yourself. If you see an officer on the street, say "hi" and have a conversation. Let them know how you feel, and offer constructive suggestions on how, as a team, the community and law enforcement can work together to make cities safer.
